3:49am is when my alarm went off this morning. I know it’s early, but I have to be at work by 7am. It’s a long process in the morning to get ready, eat breakfast, get the dogs settled, etc. So 3:49am is the magic number that starts off my day.
It just makes more sense for me to have it on an odd number like that, so don’t ask why it’s 3:49, haha.
Anyways, I rolled out of bed this morning and a little tiny part of me was like, “go back to bed”! But I thought about why I get up this early in the first place. It’s because I want to change. I want to change my body and the way I feel about myself. I want to change my attitude. I want to change people’s perspectives of me and be inspired because of me. I want to be better than I was yesterday! So I push myself everyday to get up before the sun rises!
But also with that mentality comes action. Which means I have to push myself in my workout too and not just go through the motions. So I chug my pre workout and I push play and get to work!
Today was Chisel Cardio, so as always I was drippin with sweat. But, I know I’m doing something right because I’m using heavier weights! Non-scale victory!
My meals were good today as well, I ate on track and in good time so I wasn’t cramming my meals.
Breakfast: Leftover Banana Oat Pancakes, 1/2 cup berries, 2 hard boiled eggs
Snack 1: 1/2 cup grapes and 1 tsp. almond butter
Lunch: 3/4 cup shredded chicken, 1/2 cup brown rice, 1 cup mixed broccoli and cauliflower
Snack 2: 1 scoop chocolate Shakeology, 1/2 banana, 1 tsp. natural peanut butter, dash of cinnamon, 1 cup water, 1 cup ice. Blend together for a shake!
Snack 3: 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, 5 baby carrots, 12!raw almonds
Dinner: 1 cup mixed broccoli, cauliflower, and brussel sprouts, and 3/4 cup of shredded chicken
On a side note, I died my hair to brown this weekend 🙈 what do you all think?
